Confirmation:

  • Confirmation Classes begin in October and are open to Youth in 8th grade and older. Classes run throughout the school year and Confirmation Sunday will take place June 10, 2012.  For more information on the CUMC confirmation program contact Mrs. Cindy Miller, Youth Ministry Director at  at 908-735-7025, ext. 104. 
Students in grades 6-12 are invited to weekly youth activities, which include:
  • 9:30 am Sunday Morning Praise & Worship/Dare to Share moments/age-appropriate Sunday School Classes
  • 7:00-8:30 Tuesday evenings-Break Thru small groups-Offering accountability and study in age-appropriate small groups (middle school and high school)
  • 7:00-8:30 Wednesday evenings-CONNECT Youth Group-Students in grades 6-12 come together in fellowship, fun, and food (always involved)
  • The Guardian Angel Program is a care service program that matches church members with an active college student to provide ongoing communications and ‘treats’ throughout the student’s school year. Guardian Angels remain anonymous and a meet and greet session is scheduled in the spring where the Guardian Angel is revealed to the student. If your family has a college student who would like to participate in our Guardian Angel Program, please CLICK here to access the sign up form.
  • Mini Mission Trips are offered several times throughout the year and give our middle school and high school youth a chance to prepare bag lunches and take a trip to LOVE Park in Philadelphia to share these offerings directly to those who are under-served.
  • Service Days occur monthly, generally on a Saturdays and offer middle school and high school students an opportunity to serve our Lord. Experiences range from maintenance and upkeep at the church, Habitat for Humanity, Food Pantry, etc.
  • Youth Mission Trips are scheduled each summer and offer our middle school and high school students opportunities to participate in week-long mission experiences outside of New Jersey. Past mission trips include both urban and rural experiences in Philadelphia, NYC, Washington DC, Baltimore, West Virginia, etc.  Mark your calendar for this year's mission trip July 8-13.  Check out the website for more information:  www.thephiladelphiaproject.com
